How Baltic museums cope with crisis to console people in challenging times
The resilience of societies and institutions in the Baltic Sea region was significantly tested during the COVID pandemic and will face even a greater challenge at the time and after the war in Ukraine. Patrick Rang from Estonian War Museum General Laidoner Museum tells us what they expect to accomplish thanks to EU funding and the Interreg Baltic Sea Region support.
Project platforms: capitalising on projects’ results for a wider impact
Projects and their results are the capital of Interreg Baltic Sea Region. Project platforms increased this capital. They helped connect project results to results of projects from other funding programmes. More policy-makers and practitioners use results of EU funding programmes in their work.

Added value of Interreg
Transnational cooperation in action!
From 24 to 27 June, the European Parliament will host the exhibition “Through the Youth Lens: Stories of Transnational Cooperation” – a powerful showcase of how young people are shaping a more connected, inclusive and forward-looking Europe.
The exhibition is led by Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVYs) – young Europeans who are bringing real stories from the ground into the spotlight. Drawing on their personal experiences in Interreg projects, the IVYs reveal how transnational cooperation is delivering meaningful results across Europe’s 13 cooperation areas – from coastal resilience and green innovation to youth empowerment and digital inclusion.
Transnational cooperation at its best!
The magic of Interreg
Have you ever thought about how unique Interreg transnational cooperation is? Interreg is more than just EU funding. It is about bringing people together: across borders, sectors and governance levels. Is is about uniting people of various cultures, experiences and expertise – in a shared cause, working hand in hand for solutions that the Baltic Sea region truly needs.
This kind of magic we’ve uncovered during the Programme Conference in Tampere – read the article & watch the video to get the flavour of Interreg.
Interreg synergy in action
