A greener future for port operations
The Blue Supply Chains project supports port authorities and operators in decarbonising port operations. It advances electrification, provides strategies for alternative fuels and sets-up green transport chains. Katrin Verner, Maria Tornvall, and Christopher Schnur from the project partner Stena Line explain how a ferry operator can use alternatives for getting goods to people in a greener way.
Building connections to Ukrainian organisations
Our projects have addressed the repercussions of the ongoing war in Ukraine, helping to manage the refugee crisis and fortifying societal resilience in the Baltic Sea region. Now the Programme explores how to engage Ukrainian organisations in project activities. Aligned with the core values of our Programme, we embrace the power of partnership, recognising that we are greater together.

Added value of Interreg
Transnational cooperation in action!
From 24 to 27 June, the European Parliament will host the exhibition “Through the Youth Lens: Stories of Transnational Cooperation” – a powerful showcase of how young people are shaping a more connected, inclusive and forward-looking Europe.
The exhibition is led by Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVYs) – young Europeans who are bringing real stories from the ground into the spotlight. Drawing on their personal experiences in Interreg projects, the IVYs reveal how transnational cooperation is delivering meaningful results across Europe’s 13 cooperation areas – from coastal resilience and green innovation to youth empowerment and digital inclusion.
Transnational cooperation at its best!
The magic of Interreg
Have you ever thought about how unique Interreg transnational cooperation is? Interreg is more than just EU funding. It is about bringing people together: across borders, sectors and governance levels. Is is about uniting people of various cultures, experiences and expertise – in a shared cause, working hand in hand for solutions that the Baltic Sea region truly needs.
This kind of magic we’ve uncovered during the Programme Conference in Tampere – read the article & watch the video to get the flavour of Interreg.
Interreg synergy in action
