Circ@Home

The project Circ@Home drives urban circularity by helping households, municipalities, and companies adopt sustainable practices and reduce their environmental impact.
Project summary

Circ@Home brings circularity into everyday life by connecting neighborhoods, local services and municipalities. Across eight locations, the project is testing practical solutions through food, non-food and Circularity Hub pilots, engaging groups of local households in workshops, training sessions and hands-on activities.
The challenge is that circular solutions are often difficult to access, scattered across different services and not yet integrated into everyday routines. Circ@Home addresses this gap by developing and testing solutions in real-life settings and connecting households with local circular services.
Activities range from food waste prevention, composting and cooking to bicycle repair, textile reuse, DIY cleaning products, and sharing and lending services. Circularity Hubs provide local spaces for knowledge, practical support and cooperation. They bring households together with municipalities, community organisations and local services, helping to make circular choices easier to adopt.
By combining practical experiences, local networks and household engagement, Circ@Home builds and supports communities in reducing waste, extending product lifetimes and changing everyday habits towards a more circular and sustainable lifestyle.
