Hamburg pilot visit to the Zero Waste shop

On 3 June, participants in the Hamburg pilot took part in the first thematic module, visiting a local zero-waste shop and exchanging experiences with a market vendor who has successfully introduced reusable container systems at his stalls. The activities provided practical insights into packaging reduction, waste prevention and circular solutions for everyday life.

The participating households range from single-person households to families of four. A key lesson so far is that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. However, a noticeable shift in awareness and everyday thinking is taking place. Through their Signal group and regular community meet-ups, participants share experiences, discuss challenges and support each other in finding practical ways to adopt more circular lifestyles.
