Description
This practical workshop will focus on extending the lifespan of clothing and textiles through repair, redesign and personalisation. Participants will learn about textile circularity and local services supporting repair, tailoring, reuse and upcycling. During the hands-on session, participants will use screen-printing techniques to transform their own T-shirt, tote bag or another textile item, giving an existing product a new look and a longer life. The workshop will demonstrate how creative skills and local services can help households reduce the need to purchase new products.
