
DistanceLAB’s Digital Tools Platform is now online!

The launching event took place in Stockholm in early June 2025, where the project partners met to announce the Online Hub opened and to discuss the further cooperation. During the event also the Living Labs of each project partner were introduced, you can read more about them here.
The DistanceLab Online Hub is running and providing all the tools developed in the project. These tools are designed to help organizations of all sizes navigate the evolving landscape of remote work. Whether you’re looking to boost collaboration, enhance sustainability, or develop a robust remote business strategy, DistanceLAB offers practical, tested solutions that are ready to use.
The tools are grouped into three key categories:
INNOVATE & NETWORK
The Distance Soft Interaction Skills tool enables individuals and teams to self-assess and improve their remote communication abilities, fostering more effective virtual collaboration. Complementing this, the Networking Methods tool provides practical approaches for SMEs and startups to strengthen both their communication strategies and innovation processes. Meanwhile, the Open Innovation through Business Lab offers a structured workshop format that encourages collaborative idea development around specific challenges, making it a powerful method for co-creating solutions in distributed teams. Together, these tools empower organizations to build stronger connections, spark innovation, and thrive in remote work environments.
STRATEGIZE & SHAPE YOUR BUSINESS
To support strategic development in remote and hybrid work environments, DistanceLAB offers a range of tools that help organizations plan, adapt, and grow. The Customer Relationship Building tool equips SMEs and public institutions with strategies for maintaining strong client connections remotely. The Cybersecurity Toolbox provides a clear framework for strengthening digital security practices, while the Digitalization Strategy Model guides organizations through the process of integrating digital solutions effectively. For internal development, the Employee Satisfaction Tool offers real-time insights into team morale and cohesion, and the Remote Recruitment Start Kit supports smooth onboarding and team integration in remote settings. Additionally, the Business Internationalization Enhancement framework helps businesses identify and prioritize new global opportunities with a structured, strategic approach.
FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY
To help organizations align remote work with environmental responsibility, DistanceLAB offers tools that promote sustainable thinking and practices. The Design for Sustainability tool guides businesses through a modular self-reflection process to develop more sustainable models, products, and operations. Complementing this, the Eco-Digital-Check supports service-oriented SMEs in evaluating and improving both their environmental impact and digital performance, encouraging a more holistic approach to sustainable development.
All tools have been co-developed with multidisciplinary teams and tested in real-world environments, ensuring their relevance and usability.
