Seminar in Kauguri: “Familiarisation with the site and the recent innovation open call”

Project: CCI4Change
Physical Meeting

Description

Are you a theatre director, photographer, playwright, composer, sculptor, new media artist or any other creative professional? Want to know how you can get involved in sustainable development? This is the opportunity for you!

In May 2024 the 3 innovation seed money open calls are to be announced in Latvia, Finland and Sweden. To help culture and creative field  practitioners build cross-innovation skills and create clear proposals for the calls, partners are organising 3 parallel capacity building programmes in all three surroundings.

The event on 7 May in Kauguri: “Getting to know the location and the recently announced call for proposals” is the fifth seminar to learn more about the funding opportunity, get to know Kauguri and the challenge set by the Jūrmala Municipality. We will meet at the Jūrmala Youth Initiative Centre, Mazā Nometņu iela 1, (Kauguri Park), Jūrmala.

What can we learn from socio-anthropological studies conducted in Latvia on people’s attitudes towards energy consumption? What energy efficiency challenges are present in Kauguri? By providing answers to these and other questions, the upcoming seminar will help to prepare the application for the innovation competition.
