Demonstration day of organic phosphorus fertilizers

Description

Agroväst and SLU welcome you to an afternoon in the field at the Lanna Research Station in Saleby, just outside Lidköping. There will be demonstrations of mechanical weed control and presentations of trials with organic phosphorus fertilizers. In addition, we will showcase ongoing measurements of nitrous oxide emissions in various fertilization and soil tillage systems. The day is made possible through various research and demonstration projects: CiNURGi, Oper8 and Climate Demo Farm.

    Station 1: Demonstration of mechanical weeding tools. The stations in the weeding demo include the Garford row hoe, the Einböck weed harrow, and the Einböck inter-row weeder. Station 2: SLU presents a field trial and results from studies on different types of bio-based fertilizers, highlighting differences in nutrient effects compared to mineral fertilizers. Speakers: Oksana Valetska and Helena Aronsson, SLU.
