Project: CiNURGi
Virtual event
Final presentation of project results

Description

After three years the CiNURGi project is ending, and we have results to share!

Join us for the CiNURGi Webinar: Final project results on Thursday 8th October at 9:00 CET to hear about the investments CiNURGi has planned and implemented in collaboration with partnering companies and our policy recommendations for nutrient recycling.

This webinar offers four presentations on nutrient recycling solutions and one on policy recommendations.

Investments

The investments in CiNURGi have demonstrated the practical implementation of different nutrient recycling solutions in Finland, Sweden and Poland, and now we can share their successes and challenges with you. From adapting new technology like Near Infrared Spectrometry to both agriculture and logistics, and building prototypes for mobile fertilizer production units, the CiNURGi investments cover a variety of nutrient recycling solutions.

Partnering companies:

  • Sanitation360
  • RENDBEN
  • Br. Göransson
  • Tero Liukas

Policy recommendations

The goal of the CiNURGi project has been to cultivate a circular nutrient economy and support the implementation of the HELCOM Baltic Sea Regional Nutrient Recycling Strategy. All the work done within CiNURGi has been distilled into 33 policy recommendations that covers several of the actions dedicated to nutrient management listed in the HELCOM Baltic Sea Action Plan. The recommendations have been vetted in regional policy dialogue and are now finalized.
