Lessons from the Enercracy project on social collaboration and citizen engagement

On September 22, 2026, Kirils Goncarovs (Tartu Regional Energy Agency) represented the Enercracy project consortium at the 'From Concept to Community: Launching Solar Energy Communities' organised by the Estonian University of Life Sciences in Tartu, Estonia.

The event brought together practitioners and various stakeholders in energy communities within the Baltic Sea Region and beyond to share knowledge and wisdom on developing energy communities and to strengthen their position in the region's energy transition.

During the meeting, Kirils presented the intermediate outcomes of the project during the session 'Social challenges for energy communities. How can we encourage people to work together?' and participated as a panellist in the discussion within the same session.
