StartSun conference: From Concept to Community – Launching Solar Energy Communities

Project: StartSun
Virtual Meeting & Physical Meeting
Experience, Successes & Challenges of Energy Communities

Description

The conference will focus on practical experiences of developing and building solar energy communities in different conditions. We will look at technical, social and sustainability challenges and pitfalls that we have encountered and discuss possible solutions that can be used and developed further. Special focus will be on attracting additional funding for energy community development.

At the conference we will also launch the StartSun Start‑Up Guidebook and energy community feasibility calculator that are supportive materials for any individual or organization that wishes to start their own local energy community.

The conference is in English and is co-funded by the European Union.
