MUNIMAP - HELCOM IC EG Submerged - MUNI-RISK – SAFE-BS2BKS Meeting in Stockholm

The seminar is organised in the framework of the MUNIMAP and MUNI-RISK projects, back-to-back with the HELCOM IC Expert Group Submerged session dedicated to monitoring strategy for dumped munitions.

There will be also a guest session organised by the CBSS own project SAFE BS-2BKS dealing with the topic of how the ongoing war affects marine areas in Ukraine. We are going to discuss, what early actions are needed to begin the environmental recovery and monitoring of Ukraine’s marine areas in the post‑war period.

This will be a milestone meeting for the MUNIMAP project, taking into account that most of our outputs such as the Monitoring Strategy, Policy Recommendations, BATs and BEPs are taking shape now and we can profit from the many synergies and discussions with other munitions projects and invited experts.
