Description

The CREWS project will participate in the Macro-regional and Sea Basin Strategies Days 2026, taking place on 8–9 July in Brussels. Bringing together representatives of the EU’s eight Macro-regional and Sea Basin Strategies, the event provides an important platform for dialogue, cooperation, and the exchange of ideas on the future of territorial cooperation in Europe.

As part of the event, CREWS will be present in the Networking Village, located in the Delvaux Foyer at the SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the project team, learn more about CREWS activities and results, and explore how the project contributes to strengthening resilience, preparedness, and cooperation across the Baltic Sea Region.

The Networking Village will officially open on 8 July at 17:00, following the five parallel thematic workshops, and will serve as a dedicated space for networking and knowledge exchange among projects, stakeholders, and policymakers.

The Macro-regional and Sea Basin Strategies Days 2026 are co-organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE). This year's discussions will focus on the evolving EU policy landscape, including security, resilience, competitiveness, and the future of cooperation frameworks beyond 2027.

We invite all participants to visit the CREWS stand in the Networking Village and discover how the project is supporting stronger and more resilient communities across the region.
