Kotka launches COOL Kotka project

CCI4change project local Kotka Kick Off event 19th of March at 17:00 at the Maritime Centre Vellamo.

Cool Kotka is a movement and a program where the city works in collaboration with culture and creative actors to engage communities to reduce the energy consumption. With this program Kotka supports 2-4 pilot projects where new creative approaches will be taken into action. An open call for tenders will be launched in April-May and the chosen pilots will be implemented later in 2024.  The total allocated resouce for the piloting activities is up to 30 000 EUR. As part of the program the project provides trainings and events to support the culture and creative practitioners to formulate their proposals and participate in the open call.
