EMPEREST project 2nd workshop in Gdańsk

EMPEREST international workshop #2 in Gdańsk, Poland will take place on 10-12 June 2024. 10 and 12 June are reserved for internal meetings and site visits for EMPEREST project partners.

The second day, 11 June, will be open to externals as an EU Green Week partner event and national event - we warmly welcome experts to join us! The program will focus on the topic “Technical solutions for removing organic micropollutants from wastewater” and include inspirational presentations from a variety of experts in Poland and the Baltic Sea Region. The topics discussed in the presentations will especially highlight wastewater technologies for monitoring and removing PFAS and other micropollutants. You will also hear about the experiences concerning the pilot containers built within the EMPEREST project.

The workshop targets experts addressing PFAS and other organic micropollutants in their work - in the water and wastewater treatment sector, local administrations, water associations and environmental centres, research, and international organisations.

This EMPEREST workshop has been granted the EU Green Week Partner Event label.
