Webinar: Change(K)now! – the circular economy for local authorities

As part of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region project Change(K)now!, the Association of Polish Municipalities of the Pomerania Euroregion (SGPEP) organised an online training session in cooperation with Dr Andrzej Tonderski, an expert from POMInnO.

The webinar focused on the practical implementation of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the role of local authorities, businesses, and consumers in accelerating the transition towards a circular economy.

Participants explored the implications of the new EU packaging rules for municipalities and counties, including the challenges and opportunities associated with reducing single-use food packaging and introducing reusable solutions in catering services and at public events.
