On 10 September 2026, from 09:30 to 15:00 (EEST), the City of Riga will host the Change(K)now! Final Seminar at Elemental Business Centre (Skanstes Street 25, Riga, Latvia). The event will also be available online for remote participants.
The seminar will present the results of the Change(K)now! project and explore practical solutions for implementing reusable tableware systems in public events and urban environments. A key highlight of the event will be the presentation of the Riga Guidelines for the Implementation of Reusable Tableware Systems, delivered by Mārtiņš Knite (SmartGreen Ltd.), who led the development of the guidelines. The guidelines have been prepared within the framework of the Change(K)now! project, building on pilot activities and the experiences of international project partners.
From 11:45 to 12:45, an international session in English will bring together project partners from across Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from:
The programme will also include presentations of the project's key achievements, discussions on future regulatory approaches for reusable tableware systems, networking opportunities, and exchanges between representatives of local authorities, public institutions, NGOs, and the private sector.
