Description

The CREWS project will be represented at the EUSBSR Annual Forum 2025, taking place on 29–30 October in Sopot, Poland. The Forum will bring together around 600 experts, policymakers and practitioners from across the Baltic Sea Region to explore ways to strengthen regional cooperation, resilience and preparedness.

Held under the theme “Securing the Future: Stronger Together – Building Stability in Times of Uncertainty”, the Forum will address shared challenges across the region, including security, sustainability and crisis preparedness. Discussions will span the policy areas of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR), providing opportunities to exchange experiences and develop new partnerships.

Through its participation, CREWS will contribute to regional discussions on whole-of-society approaches to crisis management, community resilience and cooperation between public authorities, civil society organisations and spontaneous volunteers. The event will also offer opportunities to connect with regional stakeholders and strengthen collaboration in disaster risk reduction and preparedness.

The Forum is hosted by the Pomorskie Voivodeship and organised in cooperation with the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
