Cross-Country Co-Creation Workshop on Forest Genetic Monitoring in Baltic Sea Region

Project: DIVERSE_GENE_WATCH
Virtual event
Co-creating solutions to monitor and conserve forest genetic diversity in the BSR

Description

The focus on the workshop is to discuss and co-develop innovative solutions for monitoring and conserving forest genetic diversity in keystone tree species across Baltic Sea Region (BSR).

Building on the outcomes of six national co-creation workshops held in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Denmark, and Poland, the event will present the key results and findings from these workshops, share experiences and insights from other leading initiatives in shaping the future of forest genetic diversity.

The co-creation workshop will include presentations of six national co-creation workshop results, experiences from other initiatives, and an interactive session to collaboratively explore strategic opportunities and strengthen cooperation towards a transnational forest genetic monitoring (GM) system across BSR.
