Day of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and Bioeconomy

Project: DIVERSE_GENE_WATCH
Physical Meeting

Description

On the 13 May 2026, our project partner, LithuaniaBio hosts a Day of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and Bioeconomy event in Vilnius, Lithuania. This event brings the presence of the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) and the BIO-INSPIRE consortium that will engage regional bioeconomy clusters for the matchmaking session aimed at facilitating new partnerships in the area of bioeconomy innovations.

Professionals, researchers, innovators and industry representatives come together to share knowledge, explore collaboration opportunities, and discuss the latest trends and developments in the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, & Bioeconomy sector. The event program includes inspiring cases (Forest Genetic Monitoring System for the Baltic Sea Region, International Plant Phenotyping for Healthy Food and Sustainable Agrobiological Resources Competence Centre, CRISPR for Agri-Tech and Industrial Biotech), as well as discussions on key trends, challenges and opportunities to leverage genetics for increasing bioeconomy resilience.

The events are co-organised by the Association LithuaniaBIO, Research Council of Lithuania, consortiums of DIVERSE_GENE_WATCH and BIO-INSPIRE project.
