Description
The RESIST Team is hosting a Transnational Strategy Lab - Strengthening regional innovation capacity to face societal challenges Vilnius on September 30th.
This initiative is part of the Regional Ecosystems for Social Innovation and Social Transformation (RESIST) project, which aims to create better conditions for social innovation and social entrepreneurs across the Baltic Sea region. Through collaboration with regional authorities, business development organizations, and civil society actors, RESIST is developing a model to foster robust regional ecosystems for social innovation.
As part of this work, RESIST is conducting regional strategy labs to generate learning and policy development to enhance the impact of social innovation and social entrepreneurship. The key learnings and experience is then shared in our transnational strategy lab to formulate recommendations for policy development cross the region.
The upcoming transnational lab in Vilnius offers a unique opportunity to:
- Listen to our key note speakers from the EU Commission (TBC) and the regional eco system in Vilnius
- Learn how different regions work with social innovation in a policy context
- Connect with partners from seven regions across the Baltic Sea and share your experience and knowledge on fostering social innovation
- Discuss with other regions and EU Commission (TBC) representatives how social innovation could be better integrated in innovation and regional development strategies
- Contribute to the development of RESIST as a platform that empowers regional authorities to lead the creation of strong, sustainable ecosystems for social innovation
