NCC-Workshop: Strengthening Social Innovation in Regional Innovation Ecosystems

Project: RESIST
Virtual event

Description

How can existing innovation systems become more open, inclusive and effective in supporting social innovation and social entrepreneurs?

Join our interactive online webinar, “Strengthening Social Innovation in Regional Innovation Ecosystems – Tools and Key Learnings from the RESIST Project”, and explore practical approaches developed within the EU-funded Interreg Baltic Sea Region project RESIST.

The webinar will present concrete tools and experiences that can help regional stakeholders strengthen their innovation ecosystems, including:

  • A practical guide for building clusters for social innovation
  • Mission-oriented approaches to shaping regional innovation strategies
  • Methods for measuring and demonstrating social impact
  • Insights from regional and transnational strategy labs that have influenced policy and funding frameworks

Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to discuss how these tools and approaches can be applied, adapted and disseminated within their own organisations and regions.

The event is particularly relevant for National Competence Centres for Social Innovation (NCCSI), policymakers, regional development organisations, innovation support providers, civil society organisations and everyone interested in advancing social innovation.

Date: Monday, 29 June
Time: 13:00–15:00 CET

We look forward to exchanging ideas and discussing how we can work together to create more inclusive and impactful regional innovation ecosystems.
