PV4All Toolbox to reach private persons now available!
01 October 2024
As part of the PV4ALL Toolbox development, three target groups emerged: private institutions, private persons and local authorities. The toolbox provides insights into the work of our project and thus encourage institutions to try out these approaches, develop them further or initiate new ideas. In the case of private persons, the aim was to reach the general public. First and foremost, this involved education in the form of events, permanent exhibitions or consultation services.
Private persons are an important part of a well-functioning energy transition. Technologies such as photovoltaics can also be used to protect the climate in private households and buildings. The partners of PV4All have approached private persons in very different ways on this subject. In some cases, information was provided in the form of events, free energy advice or permanent exhibitions: what is photovoltaics anyway? What are the benefits? Other countries have tried to reach private persons via lighthouse projects or solar ambassadors. The balcony power plant or hybrid heating with PV was more often the focus. The toolbox linked below therefore deals with the countries’ approaches to private persons/households. Some of the tools went as planned, but some did not. We have therefore exchanged experiences within the partnership and documented the most important recommendations in the toolbox.
