PV 4 All

The project PV4All develops models and advisory services for companies, organisations and individuals to overcome challenges and barriers in the uptake of small-scale photovoltaic systems across the Baltic Sea region.
The central aim of the project is to develop models for the increased use of photovoltaics and - as option - "green electricity" for heat pumps and local heat supply systems. Particular attention will be paid to involving population groups, organisations and companies that have not yet discovered this increasingly cheaper and easier-to-use form of energy, partly because it has been more expensive for a long time. The complementary competences of the formal and associated partners lead to the expectation of a well-founded status report ("Atlas") with an inventory of the spread of this form of renewable energy, the strengths and the remaining obstacles, as well as more general recommendations for action. In addition to economic development agencies, consulting providers and a cross-border association of local authorities, a research institute and several energy suppliers are also directly and indirectly represented among the partners. In the second step, basic models with strategic objectives will be developed with the participation of the various actors; a "toolbox" with a regional focus will be the result. In the third step, new forms of cooperation, advisory services and concrete business models will be developed, also on a transnational level, investment projects will be examined in detail and, if necessary, further individual model investment projects will already be realised. An internal evaluation and transnational transfer activities will be implemented throughout.

Atlas on options for Small-Scale Photovoltaics

The final version of the Atlas on options for small-scale photovoltaics in five partner countries – Germany, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, and Sweden - is now ready and available. The Atlas consists of two parts: Status Report and the Atlas of selected typical and/or some exceptional small-scale PV examples in above mentioned countries, as well as an interactive map, providing locations with informations on the presented examples.
