PV 4 All

The project PV4All develops models and advisory services for companies, organisations and individuals to overcome challenges and barriers in the uptake of small-scale photovoltaic systems across the Baltic Sea region.
Project summary

PV4All is an initiative focused on harnessing the untapped potential of photovoltaic (PV) energy in countries surrounding the Baltic Sea. Despite being one of the most cost-effective forms of energy production, PV adoption in this region remains significantly low. The partners of PV4All confront various challenges unique to their respective countries. Recognising the diversity of issues and potentials in different regions, PV4All has adopted a flexible approach tailored to specific circumstances. One of the initial challenges was to identify where the project could have the most significant impact. This analysis is compiled in the PV4All Atlas, serving as the foundation for each partner's strategies. The Atlas led the partners to the different target groups to approach. This includes a focus on urban areas, specifically tenants and large housing enterprises, to encourage PV integration. Additionally, farmers in certain regions are a key group of interest.

The target groups are supported through different offers to inform them about PV and to advise them on the steps to installation. These include digital seminars and on-site events, exhibitions, free consultations, simple step-by-step guidelines for plug-in PV, training of solar ambassadors and many more. The different approaches will be compiled in the PV4All Toolbox. Internal evaluation of the piloted approaches and transnational transfer activities will be implemented throughout the project.
