Mobile Hospital
The project Mobile Hospital develops a mobile application that helps children and their families experience authentic hospital surroundings and better prepare for a hospital visit.
Project summary
Children often have fears of hospitalization, often due to unfamiliar surroundings, equipment and new people. Our challenge is that hospitals lack the resources to provide children and parents with adequate information and advice before hospital admission. So, we will develop the Mobile Hospital application, that utilize the 360 pictures. The Mobile Hospital application with 360 feature enables children and families to encounter the authentic hospital environment, access relevant information, familiarize themselves with the procedure at their own pace. And thanks to that the children's fears reduce, the success of care interventions improve and it ease the nursing staff's work and streamline.
