Briefing for Polish administrative stakeholders

On June 7, 2024, a briefing was held in Warsaw entitled. “Sunken chemical weapons and munitions in the Baltic Sea: a growing security, economic, environmental and health threat.” The event was organized by the International Center for Chemical Safety and Security (ICCSS) in Warsaw and the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot, in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Council of Baltic Sea States and the Naval Academy’s Command and Naval Operations Department. The meeting was attended by representatives of parliament, state and local administration, industry, academia, NGOs and the media.
