May Day event at the new TGT creative space in Pori

On May Day 2024, the new TGT creative space opened its doors from 5 – 7 p.m. Derived from the word “together”, TGT creative space invites people of Pori to fill it with short-term innovative ideas, be it exhibitions, projects, installations – anything they can imagine. The City of Pori aims to revitalise vacant spaces in the city centre with life via this pilot project.
During the event visitors were animated to fill the space with May Day balloons while enjoying live performances by the indie and folk-rock band Eerie Deer. The aim is to bring colour and fun to the area, encouraging people to come up with ideas to enliven the cityscape.

The May Day event was organised in collaboration with event organiser Livisti Festival Megaraket, party shop Marakati and Crimson, the owner of the space.
