Technical details

📣On October 10, eRural’s project partner Centria RDI /Centria University of Applied Sciences held an Open Doors event in Finland. During the event, the topic areas of the eRural resilience – Interreg BSR project were also discussed.
The event gave the opportunity to showcase the project to local businesses and business development agencies. And also to engage with the local community by spreading information about the project and collecting feedback and suggestions from the community.
With this in mind, a 📈noticeboard were put up and asked a few simple questions to give ideas for the implementation of eRural resilience in the area.
❓We wanted to know how the public defined e-bio business in their own words and asked for suggestions on apps and tools that could help farmers and business owners to develop e-bio business. ❓We also asked what the benefits of digitalization and the internet were in boosting small businesses.
Here are some highlights from the answers we got.
✅Technological tools could help farmers and businesses fight insect invasion more efficiently or inform farmers on illness of other animals nearby.
✅Apps that could help monitor the weather and gather up to date statistics and information.
✅Farmers and businesses could benefit from technology related to robotics and automation and renewable energy.
