Workshop with Municipalities in Cracow, Poland - April 2024

Our Easy Energy workshop with representatives of 7 municipalities in Małopolska Voivodeship (Cracow).

Together with Tomasz Fiszer, an expert in energy economy and management, we discussed easy ways of saving energy in municipal buildings. All participants took part in workshops on our Easy Energy Collection templates which is the first step to Easy Energy solution blueprint development. We had 4 groups work with the developed template and come up with Easy Energy solutions based on existing buildings in their municipalities. An exemplary solution was to hold crafts lessons for children in local schools and help them sow pillows/cushions using recycled materials, the pillows could then be used to insulate the school building (placed e.g. on window sills) while showcasing childrens’ creativity and promoting upcycling!

We thank Stowarzyszenie Otulina Podkrakowska and Fundacja Rozwoju Demokracji Lokalnej im. Jerzego Regulskiego for organizing the event and the following municipalities for taking part: Słomniki, Krzeszowice, Koniusza, Kłaj, Iwanowice, Sułoszowa, Siepraw.
