Strategic Steps for Renewable Energy Development Discussed in Utena Seminar (LT)

The Utena branch of Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts hosted a significant seminar titled “Renewable Energy Resources Development: What’s Worth Knowing.” The event brought together chamber members and representatives from Utena county municipalities to discuss the future of renewable energy in the region.

The seminar featured presentations from three distinguished speakers:

• Agnė Bagočiūtė, Director of the Energy Agency, presented a comprehensive analysis of renewable energy resource development results in Lithuania and Utena county over the past five years, including their impact on energy prices.
• Dovydas Balčiūnas, Data Analyst from the Lithuanian Energy Agency’s Energy Data Analysis Center, outlined ongoing and planned projects for solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources development as part of Lithuania’s Energy Strategy 2030.
• Vytautas Abrutis, Data Analyst from the Climate Change Management Center, discussed municipal action plans for renewable energy development and their implementation progress.
