ZAKOPANE, POLAND – The Easy Energy  Interreg Baltic Sea Region project has successfully concluded its fifth project meeting and Energy Practitioner Training Programme in the scenic mountain town of Zakopane, Poland, marking significant progress in transnational energy cooperation across the region.

Key Achievements

The three-day gathering brought together project partners from across the Baltic Sea Region to advance energy efficiency solutions in public buildings and SMES, that require minimal investment. Three major outcomes emerged from the meeting:

Implementation Progress: Partners presented concrete progress on Easy Energy solutions being implemented in municipal buildings and SMEs across participating countries. Each partner shared national challenges and successes, reinforcing the critical importance of transnational knowledge exchange in overcoming regional barriers.

Training Programme Completion: The Energy Practitioner Training Programme reached completion, entering the evaluation phase before being adapted for national implementation by trained multipliers. This programme aims to  create a sustainable network of local energy experts across the Baltic Sea Region.

Strategic Planning: Partners advanced regional conference and dissemination strategies, preparing for broader outreach activities that will showcase successful pilot projects and attract additional stakeholders.
