Interreg Cooperation Day: DistanceLab point of view

17 October 2024
DistanceLab was one of many Interreg-funded projects on display at the Centria RDI Open Door event 10.10.2024.
Technical details

The event has been organised for many years as a showcase of all the versatile research and development work done in Centria University of Applied Sciences. However this year, by the initiative of project communicators, it was also a place to present the wide cooperation and the networks of the organisations’ Interreg projects, and the event was included as part of the Interreg Cooperation Day campaign.

This was a very good perspective for the organizers to present the projects together and from the point of view of their impact locally, regionally and in all the respective Interreg areas. The event was advertised beforehand in the project social media accounts and the Centria UAS RDI accounts, and also loads of direct invitations were sent out. All the projects invited their own partners and networks, and making them meet and mix was a great added value to the day.

The projects were presented in their respective teams and themes, but also all the Interreg projects were on display together in the lobby. To see all the projects gathered together was an eye opener not only to the visitors, but also many in the staff!

DistanceLab brought to the discussion the remote work point of view and presented the new tools developed for the stakeholders to benefit from. The project crew was happy to chat with so many stakeholders, regional developers, students, teachers and fellow project workers. There was also a chance to exchange a few words with the representatives from Interreg Aurora and Interreg NPA.

We fully recommend this concept of presenting Interreg projects together. Making the projects and stakeholders discuss and mix will lead on to even more cooperation!
