Let’s meet in WCEF2024 Studio: Circular makerspaces to build circular businesses!

On Wednesday, April 17th, we will meet in the online WCEF2024 Studio: Circular makerspaces to build circular businesses! The session will be filled with circular ideas and valuable presentations presented by experienced experts in their respective fields.

What is a makerspace and how to introduce circular economy principles in them will be presented by Diogo Dias da Costa Vale from makerspace ‘Gewerbehof’ in Luckenwalde, Germany.

Živilė Paužaitė from Tech-Park Kaunas will give an insightful presentation on the importance of innovation and businesses that are built on circular economy principles.

One of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme project ‘Circular spaces’ output is an educational program. The program includes 9 topics and is already available in piloting version on project’s website. The program will be presented by Karolina Kužmarskytė from Lithuanian Innovation Centre.

Another output is a digital collaboration tool that will be developed for makers, makerspaces, other businesses. The concept of the tool will be presented by Sandra Rožkalne from Ventspils High Technology Park.

We invite everyone who has an interest in circular economy and wants to delve deeper into introducing the circular economy principles in new business ideas.

The session will continue with a broadcast of the World Circular Economy Forum 2024 session ‘The people driving change today’. After the session we will share remarks and have a short discussion.
