Plans for Demoflight confirmed

The Plans of the BSR HyAirport to demonstrate the real flight of a hydrogen powered aircraft comes one step closer to reality.

At Farnborough Air Show Zero Avia, Hamburg Airport and Rotterdam den Haag Airport presented their plans to introduce a flight between Rotterdam den Haag Airport and Hamburg Airport. Now with Zero Avia joining with its technology a major step was made. Through this joint action, a great example of transnational cooperation and work across project boundaries is shown.

Hamburg Airport and Rotterdam den Haag Airport formed the initiative “Green Corridor” to work together on several innovations. The Flight based on a hydrogen powerd aircraft by ZeroAvia is now the most prominent one. The BSR HyAirport project will bring in its knowledge and as well gather a lot of important new knowledge for its goals and results.

The test flight shall happen in 2026 and will herald a new era of aviation.
