The 2nd Period Summary

In the second semester, after launching the 1st Online Survey, we performed an analysis of the collected results. The aim of the survey was to better understand the needs of students and young researchers who want to become deeptech entrepreneurs. Basing on the Survey’s results, the experiences of students and young researchers on access to various activities related to supporting and activating entrepreneurship among students could be examined. Then, the results of the Survey made it possible to identify gaps and determine what remedies would be helpful in this situation.

The results of the analysis were the starting point for us to work on preparing a series of workshops for students and young scientists. Those workshops will be piloting the output of the project – a dedicated Toolbox for fostering DeepTech entrepreneurship.

Each Partner developed a thematic scope and detailed plan for three Workshops, based on the gaps and needs identified in their country. Subsequently, all the plans and related conclusions were included in a collective Project document “Global workshops scenario” – joint analysis of the results of regional surveys is to lead to a universal program for all regions. The Partners have also jointly developed the draft of the BSR Deeptech Launch Student  post-workshop Survey – the 2^nd Feedback Survey – and defined the KPIs.  The KPIs will help evaluate the Workshop and its relevance to the target groups e.g. maintaining participation in the entire cycle.  Then, the KPI’s have been consulted with the Project’s RSG. This arduous process enabled for the most refined version of both the Workshops and the Survey to be developed. All this was made possible thanks to the significant help we have received from our Regional Stakeholders.
