ITW – Exploratory Workshops

On 08.05.2024 the ITW – Exploratory Workshops were conducted. The online meeting was organized by the Project Leader.
During the meeting, the Partners presented the results of the 1st Online Survey in their countries and made a summary.
Then we discussed the problems and gaps that were identified in the results and the conclusions after the survey.
Patrners drew the following conclusions from their surveys, among others:
- Poland and Lithuania had higher participation rates in lectures related to entrepreneurship compared to Germany.
- Germany had slightly higher participation in university technology transfer centers/innovation transfer centers.
- Student research clubs and student organizations were participated in across all three countries.
- Lack of knowledge and activities not being useful/interesting were common reasons across all countries.
- Financial issues and lack of spots were mentioned by some respondents in Poland and Germany as reasons.
- Lecturers related to entrepreneurship and job fairs were common sources of information in all three countries.
- Ratings and participation levels in mentoring activities were low overall, with many saying they did not participate at all.
- Most respondents across countries did not participate in Investor Relations and Pitch Workshops.
- Lack of knowledge, usefulness and opportunities were cited as reasons for low interest in in entrepreneurship as a career path.
The last points of the meeting were discussion on the 1.3 Action Plan with the methodology, and commencing works on developing a series of workshops for students and young researchers.
