Several partners in the Blue Green Bio Lab project are focused on improving marine ecosystems in ways that contribute to local development. As these aims are in line with the objectives of the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters, Blue Green Bio Lab is now considered one of over 300 actions supporting the Mission Charter.

The project was presented in Palermo at the end of May at the event Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and waters by 2030’- The Mediterranean lighthouse in action. Here partner Anne Gunnäs from Lysekil municipality, presented Lysekil’s contribution to the Blue Green Bio Lab project, which was one example among a panel of cities and regional signatories of the Mission Charter.
