Technical details

From the 14th to 16th of November Blue Mission Banos gathered a wide range of stakeholders to share ideas and discuss new project ideas at their first Mission Arena in Gothenburg Sweden

Partners from Sweden, Denmark and Latvia in the Blue Green Bio Lab project participated to gain more knowledge in support of our project goal of furthering circular bio-industrial symbiosis in the Baltic Sea Region. Participating partners also had opportunities to discuss relevant themes and issues about the blue economy with participants from government, blue economy projects, business support organisations and more.

The Danish participants from Skive Municipality and the Climate Foundation gained deeper insights from workshops and other projects about the use of blue mussels and algae as bioeconomic resources, which can support the acute need for restoring the Inner Limfjord, where very high levels of eutrophication occurred in the fall of 2023.

Fortunately the partners also had time to exchange ideas and strengthen planning for the final phases in the Blue Green Bio Lab project.

The final conference for the Blue Green Bio Lab project will be held online on March 5th. We hope to ‘see’ you there!
