BaMuR toolbox ready to use
03 March 2025
The BaMuR project is proud to announce the launch of its comprehensive toolbox, designed to bolster the resilience of museums and cultural institutions across the Baltic Sea Region. The document consists of the following sections, each of which is supplemented by audiovisual material designed to deepen the subject matter covered and facilitate understanding of the strategies presented:
- Introduction: It outlines its purpose and structure, providing a comprehensive starting point for users.
-
Participation, Inclusion, and Interaction (Participatory Governance): This section provides guidance on fostering community engagement and collaborative decision-making within cultural institutions.
- Organic Connections and Digital Sustainability: Focusing on integrating digital tools and practices, this part ensures institutions remain adaptable and relevant in the digital age.
-
Financial/Economic Sustainability: Offering insights into sustainable financial models, this segment helps institutions maintain economic viability in changing environments.
The development of this toolbox was a collaborative effort among partners from Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, and Poland, each contributing unique perspectives and expertise. The toolbox is now accessible to all cultural and heritage institutions aiming to strengthen their resilience and continue serving their communities effectively.
In addition, we recommend reading the article posted by the National Regions Development Agency – our project partner – where you will find both the text and audiovisual form of the toolbox in one place.
