Åland Islands are located in the Baltic sea between Finland and Sweden. The biggest of the islands is called “main island” and the smaller island municipalities make up the Åland archipelago.
Technical details

Åland archipelago includes six island municipalities, three in the southern archipelago and three in northern. All of the islands make for a unique experience and have a different character.

What is similar for the islands is the strong seaman heritage and culture,
unexplored nature and peaceful environment. Every island municipality has at least one guest harbor.
To the Åland archipelago you travel easily by boat from the Finnish archipelago or from the main island of Åland if you are traveling from Sweden. The high season in traveling is in June and July.
