Information Horizons, Murder on the Boolean Express
19 December 2024
17 December, the Copenhagen team of the Urban Knowledge Hubs project conducted a workshop with students. This workshop had two primary goals.
The first was to develop an understanding of the students’ information practices—both in terms of navigating various university systems and bureaucracies, as well as academically, through literature searching. These in-depth interviews will support our efforts to open co-creative and co-design pathways in the development of our teaching materials.
The second goal was to have the students playtest the current version of the choose-your-own-adventure Twine game, Murder on the Boolean Express. While the game was in a playable state, it did contain a few bugs. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with students providing constructive criticism and creative suggestions for further development.
These suggestions will be incorporated as much as possible, with a first version of the game expected to be available in early 2025. Stay tuned!
