Materials for Sensory Board

The sensory board consists of six sensory textile modules. Pressure detection sensors (one per module) are seamlessly integrated to each tile. All sensors are connected to the board computer and a speaker. When a child touches the surface of the tile, the sensors become activated and start playing a sound or music. Audio files are available on a memory stick, corresponding to six animal sounds.Â
Goals:Â
- Reduce stress with soft, calming surfaces and soothing sensory input.
- Support mindfulness and focus by pairing touch with a responsive soundscape.
- Encourage cooperation and social interaction through shared activities on the board.
