Multifunctional Sports and Wellness Centre “Aukštaitija” – Panevėžys, Lithuania

The Multifunctional Sports and Wellness Centre “Aukštaitija”, a public commercial facility in Panevėžys, Lithuania, undertook a full-building pipe insulation project covering its entire piping network. Given the scale of the facility — which includes a pool and SPA – the project was considerably more complex than a typical installation. It was completed within 6 months, required external experts, and involved strict safety protocols including worksite safety measures, ventilation and dust control, and fire and hazard precautions. Both technical and personnel-related challenges were encountered during implementation.

The total cost exceeded €10,000, driven by the extensive and large-diameter piping network required for the pool and SPA facilities, with installation labour nearly doubling the material costs. The project was funded through a combination of self-financing and external sources. While savings are not yet measurable, the centre expects the investment to pay off over a longer period of more than 3 years.

This is an example of a Easy Energy solution which was undertaken during a bigger modernization process involving the entire building.
