Easy Energy Building Insulation Solutions:

The Easy Energy project has achieved significant progress in implementing building insulation solutions across multiple Baltic Sea Region countries, demonstrating the effectiveness of simple, low-tech energy efficiency measures for both SMEs and public institutions.

Many solutions are being implemented while others are planned and/or in last stages of implementation approval.

Current Implementation Highlights:

Lithuania: in the SME sector, construction company Kriautė UAB successfully completed window replacement projects, while insurance company Lietuvos draudimas AB installed insulating blinds to reduce cooling costs. The public sector implementation has been particularly extensive, with multiple educational institutions benefiting from various insulation measures including top floor ceiling insulation at Dembava Progymnasium, window reglazing at eldership administrations, and door insulation at nursery facilities.

Poland: comprehensive school modernization in Sułoszowa municipality (including building insulation and window replacement) to targeted solutions like door closers at Hotel Rzemieslnik (Zakopane) and ceiling insulation at WZ Confectionery (Gdańsk).  Kłaj’s municiaplity nursery building implemented facade insulation.

Estonia : TREA initiated renovation of an apartment building in Võru, featuring blow-in roof insulation, triple-glazing window upgrades, and pipe insulation.

Denmark: is focusing on heat-reflective mats behind radiators in Asylum Center Ranum.
