Reusable dishes in cafes in the Anykščiai district municipality

The Change(K)now! project partner Anykščiai district municipality is testing a a system for using reusable dishes in 16 restaurants and cafes.
By joining this project, Anykščiai becomes the first city in all of Lithuania to undertake such a large-scale implementation of circular economy principles in the catering sector.
When:
- July 2025 – until the end of the project
Aim:
To reduce the amount of single-use plastic waste and to show how local actions can contribute to achieving global environmental goals.
Outcome:
The results of the evaluation will come in due time.
