Why we need Farm to School?
Wider use of local organic food in public catering has an impact on the state of the environment, children’s health, local business and the image of the region. The Farm to School initiative is a good opportunity to strengthen the region and increase the share of local ingredients in children’s meals. The activities aimed at this were about the possibilities of using organic food for our chefs by visiting organic kitchens and practically making various dishes from local organic ingredients under the guidance of a master chef to change the menus.
