We are excited to announce that as part of the FoodLoops project, a workshop is scheduled for 30 January 2025 at Primary School No. 61 in Gdansk. This engaging meeting will be led by Filip Gołębiewski, an expert from BioFarmLab, who is an architect, farmer, inventor, and graduate of the Soil Food Web School.
Workshop Topic:
Development of a Circular Economy Model for Bio-Waste in Primary Schools in Gdansk with Implementation Workshops
Workshop Highlights:
Benefits of Composting: Composting is a natural method for processing organic waste, producing valuable fertiliser that enhances soil quality, including in the school garden. This fertiliser enriches the soil with mineral and organic components, improving overall fertility. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of composting for both environmental protection and horticultural practice.
Through this workshop, children and teachers will not only acquire new knowledge but also engage actively in creating an eco-friendly school environment, inspiring them to continue eco-friendly actions.
We look forward to a productive and inspiring workshop!
