Description

The Hamburg Ministry of Economics and Innovation (BWI) organised a virtual workshop within the framework of the Internet Baltic Sea Region Programme project RESIST.

The workshop's keynote speaker, Karel Vanderpoorten (Policy Officer for Social Policy, European Commission, Directorate-General GROW) provided an overview of the policy background, the concept itself and the growing movement of existing CSEIs.

In the second part of the workshop, three speakers from hubs for social entrepreneurship from Germany, Poland and Sweden presented their real cases and the workshop participants discussed in how far these hubs would qualify as emerging CSEI and how such a transformation could look like.

The RESIST project intends to pilot the CSEI concept in five different regions throughout the project lifetime.
