A workshop for school administators and educators on how to par-take in circular school food systems

Description

A workshop is planned for school administrators/educators (nature teachers) from schools that want to set up their own biocomposter as a pilot solution and grow a school garden using biocompost.
Representatives of the Municipal Utilisation Company Ltd. will provide theoretical and practical knowledge on improving waste segregation at source in schools and canteens and transforming canteen food waste into compost/ organic fertilisers.
An important educational element will also be the inclusion of the issue of not wasting food in the Clean City of Gdansk educational programme, which is being carried out in Gdansk from 2019, with the involvement of the Generation Foundation.
