Nordic Hydrology Conference in Iceland 2025

From June 3–5, 2025, the Nordic Hydrology Conference took place in Reykjavik, Iceland. The conference focused on water management and the challenges and solutions related to water resources in the context of climate change. The GYPREG project was presented during the event.

Khaleda Begum from the Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) gave an oral presentation titled "Impacts of structure lime on soil properties in agricultural lands for water protection." Additionally, representatives from the Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology (LHEI) presented a poster titled "Effectiveness of gypsum treatment to reduce phosphorus losses from soil – experimental results from Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland," showcasing the first results from laboratory pot experiments conducted in these countries.
